North Carolina's Strategic Plan for Biofuels Leadership provides the mandate and framework from the Legislature in North Carolina for the development of a large-scale, statewide biofuels industry sector.  The Biofuels Center is implementing the strategic plan, which has the goal of replacing 10% of the state's imported petroleum fuels with locally grown and produced biofuels by 2017.
