The Biofuels Center was a feature attendee at the Wake County Public School System's 10th Annual "Xtreme Beginnings" Career Fair on 15 April 2010.  More than 600 high school students attended the event, which was held at NC State University's Jane S. McKimmon Center in Raleigh.

The Center participated in the event as part of its role of educating students about biofuels, the biofuels industry in North Carolina, and how they can one day be a part of this vibrant new sector.  The Biofuels Center table received high-traffic attention throughout the day, in part because students said they had frequent classroom discussions on renewable energy.
