The 2nd MSW to Biofuels Summit takes place in Chicago and the agenda examines the sustainable use of MSW for biofuels. Put simply, MSW for biofuels provides a strategic commodity - fuel - while reducing the environmental impacts of landfills and waste. The companies that make MSW to Biofuels a scaleable, transferable reality will reap the enormous and sustainable profits of the future. But without robust industry partnerships and the finance to develop facilities, the opportunity to seize the massive revenues expected ($17.4 billion in 2016) will never materialise. In short the industry needs an opportunity to meet so that those at the coal face can instruct the next batch of successful MSW to Biofuels businesses.
The summit also examines challenges such as feedstock security, finance, and an understanding of the end customer.
Steven Burke, President and CEO of the Biofuels Center of North Carolina is again a speaker at this event and will provide the opening address on the second day of the conference with a presentation entitled: Can societal benefit be communicated and measured in the case of MSW to biofuels |
